Dear family and friends,
We have moved again and left behind us 4,5 years of beautifull Switzerland. I cant wait untill I can go back skiing! We miss our friends and hope to see you soon again.
I have a new home and a new room. Started school and am very happy there as it used to be a Dutch school untill two years ago. That results in still 70% Dutch students so I can speak my mothertongue very often, playdates 5 days a week and 3 Dutch girls from school living next door and many others very near. After school I started horseriding lessons. Mum is my classroomparent, so already busy organising things. I like it she now can participate a lot at school:)
Pernille is happy too, she starts using English words although she is speaking Swiss-german a lot in class but is surprised no-one else speaks it in return...
The new house is nice, typical English and hopefully not to cold in winter! In the UK they certainly could learn something from the Swiss builders.
Mum and dad experience a lot of "red tape" due to 9-11, it is very difficult to get things like a direct debit card from the bank, cheques (yes they still use them here!), (mobile)telephones, internet etc.
In the UK we drive on the other side of the road, very funny, but mum did not give right of way to a "sleurhut" (caravan) and had her first car accident last week and a flat tire today after driving in the (pyrford)woods, so yes, we settle in very fine!

Zit Pernille ook bij allemaal nederlandse kinderen? En willen jullie een foto van de kinderkamers laten zien?
Leuk hoor al die foto's te zien. Wat leuk dat Scarlett ook paardrijles zit. wil je daar ook eens een foto van laten zien. En vind je het leuk op paardrijles?
Doei, wij komen ook wel een keer bij jullie op bezoek.

Erg leuk om te lezen hoe het gaat met jullie. We missen jullie hier natuurlijk in Zürich, stiekem was Scarlett toch wel één van de liefste leerlingen van mijn klasje ;-)
