We celebrated all our birthdays (me and dad, mums 40th) together in May and welcomed many friends and family from Holland.
Borrowed tables and bbqs from the neighbours and invited them for what was to them the welcome party. It was an interesting mix of nationalities and languages. Grandma helped mum cooking till midnight and was our rock for organising drinks and food during the party and afterwards. I started my playmobil collection (princesses, fairies, elves, horses, carriage etc) and mum and dad gave me big pink wooden castle, painted by themselves during 3 evenings/nights.
We all have sweet memories of this day!
